Chronic Pain and Unexplained Conditions: How Understanding Trauma Shapes the Healing Path

Why does trauma often show up as chronic pain, autoimmune conditions, or unexplained physical symptoms long after the original event has passed? In this eye-opening presentation, Dr. Jodie Solberg explores the scientific connections between these often unexplained conditions and earlier trauma in a client’s life. Participants will gain a clear understanding of how unresolved survival responses can become embedded in the nervous system and expressed through the body.

Through client case studies and real-world success stories, Jodie will demonstrate how practitioners can recognize the trauma–health connection and apply practical strategies in their work. Attendees will learn three proven techniques they can immediately bring into their clinical practice to help clients regulate the nervous system, interrupt chronic pain patterns, and safely support the body in releasing stored trauma—providing valuable tools to enhance clinical effectiveness when working with chronic pain, autoimmune issues, and unexplained physical symptoms.
