Hypno Massage: A Fusion of Mind Body Modalities

Hypno Massage is a fusion modality that can help your client to relax and/or lessen pain, muscle tension or anxiety.
Learn how to combine hypnosis techniques, massage, breathing and somatic exercises to effect relaxation in a seated client. Participants will learn a process that combines hypnotic language with a simple massage technique with observation and entrainment of the client's breathing for the purpose of relieving stress/anxiety and/or inducing relaxation or hypnotic trance. It is experiential so that tissue memory may be established.
A technique will be presented for participants to experience massage through a scripted experience of massage using the mind and imagination. Also included will be somatic exercise techniques to help relax the nervous system and achieve neuroregulation.
