Altered States and Life’s Transitions: The Story of My Mother’s Death
What role might altered states play as we approach the end of life? Drawing from the deeply personal experience of accompanying her mother at the end of her life, Dominique will share her observations of hypnosis, altered states and this significant life transition.
This presentation invites us to consider an intriguing question: Can altered states facilitated through hypnosis offer comfort or support at the end of life? Dominique will share her experience and insights, followed by time for questions and discussion.
Bio
Dominique has studied hypnosis for 15 years and entered a clinical hypnotherapy program in New Mexico in 2012. Alongside her martial arts practice, she has used hypnosis and trance states to explore new frontiers in self-actualization.
Her recent experiments touch on the extent of Consciousness within our body and beyond. She will also share her recent experience accompanying her mother at the end of her life, including the role altered states played during this significant transition.
